Transporter’s Good Causes

Transporter is proud to support local and national good causes alike. 2016 has seen fundraising for various charities including Barts and Macmillian, which will continue throughout 2017.

Local charities supported recently have included Braintree Foodbank where our staff will supply food for the festive season.

Within the village of Gosfield we have supported the Gosfield Foundation, Village Fete and an annual donation to the Parish Council. As a group we also support the Horticultural Society and Cricket Club.

But our giving doesn’t stop there. In 2016 we forged links with Colchester Institute, where we now support the 3-year welding program. This includes offering year 2 and 3 students an annual open day, where they will have a full day on site and get an insight to the working world. We also offer all of our offcuts and scrap back to the College for practical lessons during college time.  This has been extremely successful with 3 new welders joining the Transporter team this year.
